THOUGHTS FOR A RAINY DAY
Love is a tingle
Through your heart and mind,
A stimulation far beyond
The excess of heartbeats.
Once through the tunnel you pass
Never again to know apathy,
Far and beyond the melody of glass
Mysterious as the cats we see.
Harken back to a time we know
Wondering quietly, gently, as the sea.
Connecting now with everything that flows
Harken back to the land that be.
Love is a wondrous overflowing bliss
Carried by fervently beating hearts.
Extended throughout time
No time can we waste
Longing and hoping no parting will come.
Yet part we all must
For you know we will go
Out into the world
To avenge our own sorrow.
