Description
This is a drawing i did while living in a temporary shelter after I was evacuated from my house because of the flood waters from Hurricane Florence, Sept. 23, 2018. This was drawn in Oct. 2018. I was dubbed "The Rabbit Lady" in the local newspapers, because I chose to stay with my rabbit and refused to abandon him even though flood waters were rising. Fortunately the landlord's son volunteered to take care of him if I would go to a shelter. All of us were evacuated in rowboats and taken to safety.
This was a Top Finisher in the ONLY IF YOU LOVE TO DRAW Contest.
This was a Top Finisher in the TRIBUTE TO ANOTHER LIVING ARTIST CONTEST FROM FAA...2020.
