This appears to be a dream sequence in a cat's life.....all about catness. This painting was done in 1973. It was appropriated by my college as an example of my work.
QUEEN
Regal, royal Queen of the Night,
Statuesque in all your splendor.
Sleek and graceful you move in stealth,
Capturing awe of all who know you.
Mystery shrouds you, O Queen of the Night,
Soft and smooth you flow like silk.
Who would know you
As you come and go,
That you are Queen of Cats,
A royal soul.
