Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. (December 31, 1943 – October 12, 1997), known professionally as John Denver, was an American singer-songwriter, record producer, actor, activist, and humanitarian, whose greatest commercial success was as a solo singer.. This portrait was made using photos of John Denver from the public domain on the internet that were rendered as watercolors in the DrawPlusx8 design program. JD was an angel on earth, a communicator of inspirational messages through his songs and music.. He is one of my favorites.
