That sounds like a huge mess. To my knowledge, Wombo's website states that anyone who uses Wombo automatically gets a copyright to it as long as Wombo is given credit. They say you can do anything you want with what you create including sell it. Then there are other sources that say consult a lawyer. I have created a Kitsune 2 without borders to see what kind of reception I get with the change. This is a test case.

Hello Hello Denise, Don't get me wrong; I have nothing against using AI as a way to make art and being honest about it, I do it myself. But I know a lot of artists who have gotten into trouble because of copyrights cases. And that even without trying to make money from it...Just because they didn't know how to slip through the cracks. And because there's a lot of money being made by law firms who are doing nothing but making money in copyright cases. Let me give you an example of that: I also make animation films and was licensed for them by a specialized firm.... but they never sold me anything. Yet suddenly I got a big fat check in my mailbox from them. It turned out that a well-known tractor manufacturer (you know them, the name starts with John) had used one of my films (with a tractor in it) in an advertising campaign without permission and the lawyers had threatened them with a lawsuit... Turned out that was exactly what the company that was supposed to sell my work was doing: having their lawyers scour the Internet for possible copyright cases and where they were making much more money with that, than by selling work from their artists.... Result: my intention of attracting more people to my work was ruined. Because now I can't sell that film myself.... And what does that have to do with AI? Well I don't know if you know how AI works; those programs scour the Internet for images to then use them to generate new images, but the are clever enough to put in the fine print that you can't use what you create with it commercially. That way they are covered against possible lawsuits.... And can pass those off to unsuspecting unknown artists.... It's a complicated matter AI copyrights, on which the last word has not yet been said.

I was informed that it is ok to sell these, but was not informed of the requirements you mention. My intention on posting these as is would be to showcase what Wombo can do without further manipulation.. I do not care about selling these. I am just enjoying experimenting with this app. No one has expressed interest in purchasing. This is just a creative exercise for me. If someone expressed interest in purchasing, I know how to crop them to remove the Wombo text. Indeed I have done that with a few to improve the design. Thank you for your input. Have a great day.

Hello Denise, You make very nice things with dream.ai from Wombo. But a little advice. You cannot or should not, due to copyright laws, sell work you make with it.... Especially not if you keep leaving Wombo's framing and logo with it. But there's an easy way out of that; the law also says that if you modify or manipulate an image (and that can be even a very small amount), you are again entitled to copyright on the image. So if I were you I would remove those frames.... Now I also know that not everyone can afford a subscription to Photoshop.... But there is also a very good free program that can do the same thing and that is GIMP: https://www.gimp.org/ Sincerely, Kitsune Kowai
