Description
This analog photograph was made with a rangefinder camera near Traveler's Rest, SC , USA in 1973. It has a rather haunting feel to it, so I call it mystic.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
Wild Thing
Denise this is a wonderful shot!! And of course, why not! I love all things mist! But this is a stunning monochromatic compostion ... well done my artistic friend! L/F and Shared on Facebook soon to be shared on Twitter! ;))) Wildly Yours, Wild Thing

Thank you for your enthusiasm, Wild Thing! This tree reminded me largely of Witchy Poo, a popular TV character at the time. The surroundings in that part of the country indeed felt mystical :-)
